Summer School (5 Days) - 9 to 15 - Week 2 (Monday 29th July to Friday 2nd August)
Jessie and the team have created a fantastic programme for our Summer School students to dive into! The project title for the week is ‘Trip of a Lifetime’! Students will be given a ‘confidential envelope’ on arrival which contains the location they’ll be creating a dream holiday for. They’ll have all the information they need to design and create a ‘trip of a lifetime’. We’ll be creating the cuisine served on this trip, discovering the animals we might meet, planning and illustrating an itinerary for holiday goers, creating merch and making posters to sell this once in a lifetime trip.
Students might want to design a cruise, a safari, a trek or even a camping trip. However they choose to explore their destination is completely up to them. They’ll have opportunities to try different mediums like clay, calligraphy, lino printing and fabric painting and it’s set to be a fantastic 5 days!
Students will need to bring a packed lunch and a water bottle (we can refill their water throughout the day should they need). Students will also need to wear clothes that can potentially get a little messy. We will have aprons too but we've learnt that even that doesn't guarantee no paint on clothes so messy clothes are definitely helpful!
Early Drop Off And Late Pick Up
Our art sessions will be running from 10am - 4pm with a couple of breaks for snacks and lunch. However we are offering an early drop off and late collection option.
If you would like to drop your child off at 9am and collect them at 5pm the additional charge is £10 per day. They will be able to use the space to create before our other students arrive. They will also be able to continue working on their projects at the end of the day for an additional hour.

Age Range: 9 - 15 (if your child is younger than 9, we suggest you join our other Summer School course as this course will be more advanced and challenging for younger students)
